MESSAGE

Marine litter is an increasingly serious problem worldwide.
It is estimated that about 80% of marine litter comes from land (cities),
and trash pickup is the "last defense" against this problem.

For the first time, we will be holding the " SPOGOMI" World Cup,
a sport originating in Japan that combines trash pickup and a sport.
We aim to create an opportunity for action and a global movement
to reduce marine litter that transcends national and generational boundaries.
We hope you will pay attention to SPOGOMI,
which will be held in various countries around the world,
and we look forward to your participation.
